Nirmanakaya

Body of the Buddha

This tiny cabin features large windows along its porch, looking out into a bowl-shaped glade, which has a peaceful and protected atmosphere; so much so, that groups of deer frequently sleep close by the cabin. It is located near the retreat road, but hidden from view, in short walkingsolitary_buddhist_retreats_nirmanakaya distance to the meadows surrounding the Purkhang, the stupa-like monument in the upper retreat area. From Nirmanakaya, one can easily walk down to the main house, if need be.

Nirmanakaya's peaceful spot in the forest attracts herds of deer to sleep nearby.

While hidden from view, Nirmanakaya is close to the retreat road leading to the Purkhang.

Nirmanakaya’s practice space has been ripened by generations of retreatants.

Throughout your retreat you can wake up every morning in the shrine room.
